What's your name, how old are you, where were you born, where do you live and have you got any pets?
My name is Pablo Hernandez, I am 15 years old, I was born in Madrid, Spain (I can speak the language fluently) and I currently live in London. My goldfish died two and a half months ago.
What got you into films?
I've loved films all my life, but when I really got into them was when I was around 14 years old. The real motive I do not know, although I believe it was wandering on movie websites and watching Citizen Kane for the first time.
Do you get paid for running all this?
If only. Nope, this is my website and I write for it because I simply fee like it. There you go.
Any influences for your love of film?
Steven Spielberg was the first director who captured my imagination as a kid (I've seen most of his films), so I suppose that counts. Also, many people on Rotten Tomatoes, especially Ray (who goes by the name of filmsRpriceless). His love for film as fascinating as it is odd. And it's contagious, too.
How many films do you watch every month?
An average of twenty. Roughly, yeah.
Apart from viewing films, what other activities do you enjoy doing?
I love reading next to a fire (anything by Tolkien, Orwell, Steinbeck, Palahniuk or Shakespeare will probably do), playing soccer, surfing on the Internet and singin' in the rain. What a glorious feeling!
What soccer team do you support?
Real Madrid, the greatest one there is.
Any siblings?
Two brothers and two sisters. I'm the oldest. What a lamentable burden.
Can I ask you any questions I want, be them film related or not, via e-mail?
Of course. My e-mail address is
How come the vast majority of your reviews are positive?
I simply enjoy talking about a film that I liked than about a film I disliked. There is a large difference between doing the two, so I suppose that's pretty much why.
Have you ever worked in the movie industry?
Yeah, I make my own home movies.
Can I see them?
Not at the moment.
As a whole, do you think you need to see more films?
